Short description:

The highly flexible fire protection mat Armaflex Protect R90 meets the fire resistance class R90 according to DIN 4102, Part 11. It is approved for pipe seals for both non-combustible and combustible pipes.

Thanks to its intumescent properties in the event of a fire, Armaflex Protect is not only suitable for safely sealing pipe penetrations made of copper, steel and stainless steel, but also for supply lines made of combustible materials such as multi-layer composite pipes, PE, PE-HD, PP or PVC pipes. Armaflex Protect is a versatile system component and can be easily combined with all elastomeric insulation materials from Armaflex as well as the adhesives Armaflex 520, Armaflex RS 850 and Armaflex HT 625. Best of all, all pipes can be installed with no minimum clearances, meaning they can be installed with “zero” clearance.

• Highly flexible, closed-cell insulation material with intumescent properties
• Ideal for securely sealing wall penetrations for pipes made of copper, steel and stainless steel
• Also suitable for supply lines made of combustible materials such as multi-layer composite pipes, PE, PE-HD, PP or PVC pipes
• There is no need for minimum distances; all pipes can be installed at "zero" distance
• Supplied in a practical roll format of 6 x 0.5 meters
• One roll covers 3 square meters, so 6 square meters corresponds to the contents of 2 rolls of 3 square meters each.

With the new Armaflex Protect, non-combustible and combustible pipes can be sealed more easily than ever. Whether in ceilings, solid walls or lightweight walls, Armaflex Protect ensures safe fire protection in all components, without any complex additional measures. Armaflex Protect is designed to close the remaining opening with standard construction mortar/filler. This means that nothing stands in the way of an undisturbed construction process. Thanks to its intumescent effect in the event of a fire, the new Armaflex Protect can not only be used to securely seal the penetrations of pipes made of copper, steel, stainless steel and cast iron, but also for supply pipes made of combustible materials such as multi-layer composite pipes, PE, PE-HD, PP or PVC pipes. Armaflex Protect is a system component that can be used with connection insulation made from all elastomeric insulation materials from Armaflex and the adhesives Armaflex 520, as well as Armaflex RS 850 and Armaflex HT 625.
