Installation instructions for Armaflex HT

  1. Prepare the surface: The pipes or cables to be insulated must be clean, dry and free of grease.
  2. Cutting material: Cut Armaflex HT to the appropriate length and width using a sharp knife or scissors.
  3. Adjust & attach: Place the insulation around the pipe and press lightly for a perfect fit.
  4. Bonding: For hoses, use the pre-applied adhesive seam or securely seal open cuts with Armaflex adhesive . Ensure a seamless connection to avoid thermal bridging.
  5. Allow to dry: Allow the adhesive joints to dry for a few minutes before applying any load to the insulated pipe.
  6. Inspection & Repair: After installation, check all joints for tight bonding and repair if necessary.
