Armacell has discontinued production of Armaflex XG. If our locations no longer have the ordered size in the XG version, we will supply you with the better Armaflex AF at no extra charge.

Armaflex AF and Armaflex XG are identical except for the Microban coating against mold and bacteria.

Armaflex XG sheets and rolls represent an extremely high-quality and affordable insulation option and are used in a wide variety of applications requiring an elastic and dust-free material for thermal or cold insulation. Whether in the context of caravan and motorhome insulation, weekend cabins, or boats, the range of applications is broad. Thanks to their closed-cell structure, these sheets are completely watertight – even along the cut edges – and impermeable to atmospheric moisture (diffusion resistance 10,000 mµ).

The panels can be easily and accurately cut and processed with a sharp knife, preferably a ceramic knife . To a limited extent, the subsequent application of covering materials is also possible (taking into account the weight and the appropriate adhesive). Materials such as felt, fleece, synthetic leather, or other fabrics can be easily bonded to the Armaflex XG . The material is harmless to health, and these panels do not emit any chemical fumes.

• Application temperature: -50 °C to +110 °C (adhesive surface can only be used up to a maximum of + 85 °C)
• Thermal conductivity: WLG 0.035
• Water vapor diffusion resistance number: 10,000
• Fire behaviour: Building material class B-s3-d0, self-extinguishing, non-drip, does not conduct fire
• Sound insulation effect: up to 30 dB(A) (depending on the application)
